Powershop x Melbourne Museum Pinwheel Activation

Powershop_Activation4.jpg

Powershop wanted to educate Australians on how wind power and renewable energy works. Using their partnership with Melbourne Museum, I created a concept for an activation that would not only educate young Aussies on wind power, but encourage their parents to ‘go green’ with their energy consumption too.

Kids who visit the museum are given a cardboard pinwheel kit. Each kit will show them how they can support green energy in Australia by creating a pinwheel.
Once they’ve placed their pinwheel in the museum, the pinwheel will spin depending on the weather conditions outside. A windy day? They’ll spin more and create more energy. The more it spins, the more power is created. They can track their pinwheel by entering a unique code and signing up with an email.

We got a bit of press coverage too.
